Kayla Gottwald is an illustrator from West Michigan. For the past few years, she has been completing her BFA in Illustration at Grand Valley State University. She has been pursuing art for over a decade. While interested in editorial style as well as narrative-driven artwork, Kayla plays with a range of modern themes such as identity, feminism, and folklore. Mainly a digital artist she uses apps such as procreate and illustrator to complete a realistic style that is unique to the digital platform.
